 Willits Elementary Charter School is a wonderful community of teachers and staff serving local students on a beautiful campus. 

WECS was started in 2012 by parents and volunteers who transformed an empty lot into an amazing free public school that has ranked among the top three elementary schools in Mendocino County in language arts and math. We offer many enrichment activities as part of the curriculum, including Art, Music, Spanish, Garden, PE, field trips, and a fantastic after-school program. 

We are always on the lookout for highly qualified individuals who want to help us achieve our mission of equipping the next generation of students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
