  • Purchase supplies and maintain office equipment
  • Maintain records for fee payments, service hours, and textbook check-out
  • Schedule parent-teacher meetings
  • Maintain student and school records through Calpads
  • Record daily attendance
  • Make and distribute keys as needed
  • Reception and community interface
  • Meet and greet the public, prospective students and families
  • Provide tours and orientation
  • Answer phones and respond to messages
  • Check-in visitors
  • Create contracts, track, and maintain records for short term independent study
  • Assist teachers with coordinating field trips and ensure compliance with insurance regulations
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist with special events
  • Conduct and record monthly site safety checks
  • Conduct and record fire and earthquake drills
  • Help ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and monitor safe school procedures
  • Arrange for periodic checks of fire extinguishers and other safety equipment
  • Track requirements for student immunizations, ensure compliance and maintain records for student medical testing (hearing, vision, and scoliosis), student immunizations (hepatitis and MMR) and teachers (TB testing).
  • Maintain student database, class schedules, class lists and other student records
  • Create report cards and transcripts
  • Maintain employee database, documentation for new employees, maintain employee records, and interface with employee health insurance.
  • Perform miscellaneous reports such as, Calpads data entry & updating, attendance, SARC, CBEDS etc.
  • Demonstrate the utmost respect and caring for students, parents, and fellow employees
  • Share the common vision and educational philosophy of WECS


  • Strong organizational, communication, computer, and public relations skills
  • Knowledge of general office equipment is helpful
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
